OUR STORY
Charlotte & Lizzie met in a Brighton Jazz bar about seven years ago, it was such a refreshing change to see a woman on the stage Lizzie had to go over and say hello.

As a Lindyhop teacher, Lizzie spends a lot of time at Jazz clubs to find Swing bands to hire. Seeing there was a shortfall of women, she started to request a woman for each Swing band she would hire, to be told "no, sorry we can't find one".

About: About Us
Lizzie Abrahams was taught classical music from the age of four and started going to Jazz gigs from the age of ten. Her collection of instruments are Piano, Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone & singing. She has taught the Swing dance Lindy Hop for fifteen years as well as Ballroom & Latin.
Charlotte Glasson has been a professional musician for many years playing all the saxophones, flutes, clarinet, bass clarinet, violin and viola, penny whistle, melodica, percussion, and even the saw. She has worked on pop albums & is the band leader of the all girl jazz group, The Swing Shifters.
